One of the most frequently asked questions we receive is “How do you conduct a search?”
We seek to adapt our approach to suit your circumstances. However, in general,
the search process may be defined by the five phases described below.

Search Process

  • Sterling search helped me find my absolute dream position.  They were professional and thoughtful throughout the entire process where they represented both me and the organization.  Since working with Sarah, she has become a long term friend and colleague.
Melissa Beck, CEO, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County & The Inland Empire
  • Sarah Agee was an absolutely joy to work with and I can’t say enough good things about her. She is highly organized and time and again went beyond what we were expecting. Sarah made the entire process very easy for us, anticipating our needs and concerns before we even knew we had them! Not only did she find tremendous candidates for our review, but she put together comprehensive information packets with personality tests, talking points and key interview questions to ask. I would completely recommend Sarah and Sterling Search’s services to any non-profit organization looking to hire key personnel – in fact I already have.
Tina Pagano, Director, Make-A-Wish Foundation and member of search committee
