Linda Yeomans - Director of Executive Search

Linda began her career in the non-profit world inspired by her post-college service as a Peace Corps Volunteer. She returned after two extraordinary years in the Philippines and proactively pursued work in the non-profit sector, focusing primarily on mission-based organizations. Like many professional fundraisers, Linda began her career path not in fundraising but as a program manager working to resettle Southeast Asian refugees into the Boston area. She started writing grants when her small non-profit could not afford to hire a grant writer. Grant writing led to additional responsibility for annual giving, major gift solicitations and eventually capital campaigns, special events, and planned giving. Linda remains grateful to all the non-profit professionals she met along the way, to those who mentored and coached her, and to all those who continue doing the important work of shaping our world into a kinder, healthier, and more just and equitable global community. She is thrilled to be part of the team at Sterling Search Inc., where she can continue to be inspired by the non-profit community, while helping to place outstanding non-profit professionals in exceptional, mission-based organizations.

Born and raised in Boston, Linda has lived in Fullerton, CA for 25 years with her husband John and their two rescue dogs. Now “empty nesters,” they remain the proud parents of two amazing daughters who inspire them every day to give back often and pay it forward whenever possible.
